Sorry it's been forever... if anyone even comes here anymore... I've just been working hard as a college student all year and haven't really had the time or energy to photograph and upload anything. Especially since my camera has been kinda failurific for probably over a year now... It only works when it feels like it and hates new batteries.

Well then, as for college I've been doing grood (great and good) getting A's and B's and being a good little art student by killing myself with my overachieving nature. I've also decided to double major in ceramics and creative writing. I want to use my creative writing degree to write children's books. I'm super excited for the Where the Wild Things Are movie which comes out on October 16th.

I have a week and a half left in school so I doubt if I'll get on much in the mean time, but I'll try more during the summer though I may take some summer classes back in houston to ease the burden of a double major with a possible minor in either sculpture or metalsmithing.

My last design project is going to be stopmotion where I'm going to tell Nicodemis' story. I may upload it once it's done but if I waste enough time not doing my work and being on here I may end up uploading a picture of my full bodied Nicodemis armature sculpture. He is posable though he likes to fall apart and not stand under his own weight. I'm currently working on the two-story set he will inhabit for the 3-5 minute video. The wire I'm using isn't very sturdy and I'm a poor art student and don't like buying materials unless it's necessary so it's pretty flimsy when a load of sculpey is placed over it. I had to waste SOOOOO MUCH WIRE!!! GAAAAAAAH!!!! It's currently killing me and I still have my drawing project not even half done due monday, and an 8-10 page research paper with 5 BOOK SOURCES and more internet sources which is due next tuesday... but still... GAAAAAHHHH!!!!!! Plus that teacher doesn't know how to teach or give instructions.... he just fails. Epically.

Haven't gotten to take any ceramics courses yet but I'm signed up for one in the fall along with metalsmithing, American literature to 1870, language study and earth science. I was also going to take art history but it conflicts with ceramics so forget that! Plus that would've been like 18 hours... and would've killed me further anyway though I've taken it before.

Anyway, I guess that's all I should say since I need to get back to work. Maybe I'll upload some of the pieces I've made this year later. Who knows. But don't expect too much since I fail at keeping this place updated anyway.
